Sailing Events are keen to help you with your mileage building. Our 49 ft ocean cruiser and experienced Ocean Yachtmaster skippers will help you clock up the miles with our bluewater sailing. Ideal for those wishing to complete their Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster requirements…..

  

Our Jeanneau 49 will be undertaking an Atlantic Crossing in May leaving Antigua in the Caribbean on the 8th or 9th, heading for Falmouth UK, via The Azores. This 4,000 mile passage will take approximately 28 days in total, with a 2 day stopover in Horta in The Azores. 2 berths are still available at £1500pp.

A further leg from Falmouth to Portsmouth is also available.

Later in 2012 we will be taking part in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers)* starting in November from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. This 3,000 mile Atlantic passage takes 2-3 weeks and will give you real experience of offshore sailing and sea survival. You can be involved in every aspect of the planning of the crossing from victualling to emergency equipement. The event costs also includes seminars and briefings in Las Palmas on everything from weather routing to medical emergencies at sea.

In September 2012, we will have berths available for the 2000 mile delivery to the Canaries. Ideal for mileage building we can offer individual legs or the whole trip are available. Berths are £500 pp per week, with discounts for the whole trip.
